Architectural Issues

Lets play I-Spy, Museum Addition. What’s wrong with this photo?

IMG_7827If you noticed the gray rolled up towels in the lower half of this image, then you win! What do you win: A burst of knowledge! Water is one of the most feared elements in a museum. This institution, which will remain unnamed, is obviously having some leakage problems in their window sills. What I found to the be the most unnerving is that the towels are all the same gray tone to “match” the floors on multiple levels of the building. This indicates to me that the problem is long term. What would your solution be?
