I just got the official notice that I will be co-presenting my first conference session! I’ll be joining the director of CGP, Dr. Gretchen Sullivan Sorin, and fellow classmate Ashley Bowden at the Museums in Conversation conference in April. Together we will be leading a discussion based off my thesis research. The conference is sponsored by Museumwise: The Museum Association of New York and will be held in Syracuse, NY.  Not So Black and White: Racial Diversity in the Museum Professional Field, will be a brainstorming session that will look into how we can actively diversify the field.

So – lets get this ball rolling! What does museum diversity look like? Comment here to join in on the conversation about what your museum can do to increase the diversity of your staff and the museum field.
