Pathfinder Village

As part of an Applied Museum Education course, I am helping to develop a program for Pathfinder Village, a community for students with down syndrome. They will be visiting the Farmers’ Museum in Cooperstown in a few weeks and participating in music and farm activities while learning about NY rural life in the 1840’s. As part of our project we visited the school at Pathfinder and got to meet a few students who will be joining us. Pictured here is a student and I working on tactile skills with clay.
